Memorial Swim Meet

What a difference a year makes.  Long course season is moving right along.  We are back in the pool but not in Cedar City.  This year the meet is at DSU Health & Performance Pool.  The kids are all anxious to try it out.

There were multiple teams attending from Northern Utah, California, Colorado, and Nevada.  The Mixed format makes it a challenge since all ages are competing together.  Listening to the officials describing the computer program and how it would determine the tops spots.  Keeping fingers crossed that it all works out.

Large pool with
a lot of windows.

He is in the zone!!
Ready to swim...

Saturday afternoon
Empty pool means time to relax before the craziness starts.

Trying to catch the start
backstroke.

It was a fun, hectic meet full of crazy kids running around.  New pool to explore and to get the fill for it. I definitely like the SUU pool better but it being closed down for maintenance.  They will reopen next week just in time for their swimmers to get ready for summer games.
