Surprise!!!! Little Mermaid

Keeping this secret was easier than I thought when everyone is running crazy it slipped through the cracks.  The girls were surprised because we left the game early and didn't head towards home.  Everyone made it just in time to get a quick dinner, find our seats, and get settled before the lights went down.  The stage started to flood......

Quick dinner

Is that water?

Scuttle & Rylee

Ursula & Rylee
It was a great play we all loved it.  Ryder fell asleep 3/4 of the way through.  He was pooped after football and so sad they lost their game.  My dad rubbed off on me I waited until the crowds thinned out time to go home.  The girls were anxious to get home, but traffic was still really backed up.  We put on a movie to wait out.  They didn't agree, but what choice did they have I had the keys.

It was a great night and I am glad we didn't miss this one despite the craziness surrounding us.

Football Playoffs

The season ended last week and surprise!!!! It was playoff time.  Who would have thought that flag football for 6-7 year olds would have playoffs for a championship game.  Surprise!!!! The cowboys were excited to keep playing.  It was a nice night for football.

Check out the action shots.....

Time to run since I wasn't prepared for the playoff season before it was too late.  I had scheduled other fun things so it was time to run.  The girls & I left on a mad dash......

Soccer Game .....

A quick trip across town to the soccer fields.  Surprise the Geckos were going to play the same team as last week.  The fields were full of kids playing, running, screaming, and just having fun.

Watching their team and cheering them on.

Playing Rover

Now playing Goalie

Gave up one Goal,
but blocked multiple balls coming towards her.
Another win for the Geckos.  They were hot, sweaty, and laughing all the way to the parking lot.  Now they have a week off much to their disappointment.

Annual NICU Reunion.....

At Staheli Family Farms is the perfect way to spend a Saturday Morning.  Our morning started a little earlier with a cleaning assignment at the church.  We hurried as fast as we could so we could enjoy the activities at the reunion.

Each year we now fewer and fewer people but the feeling is always the same.  "Gratitude" is expressed everywhere you turn.  The kids were off running to their favorite activities.  Rylee off to the animals, Reganne off to the horses, and Ryder just ran from one thing to the next.  We were luck that Dacoda & Julie came with us this year so more friends to play with.

Rope Swing
Which one could go higher?  Ryder or Dacoda

Rylee and all her friends.
She found Fred the Goat who followed her around the grounds.
Life Flight
New addition this year,  The kids loved it.  They couldn't wait to climb inside.
Pirate Maze
Horse Ride
or rather a workout for Rylee as she pulled the rope for everyone to ride.

Dirt Pipe Slide
A new addition to the farm.
Hayride
Off to the pumpkin patch.

Check out the pumpkins

Sorry no pumpkins.
Time to head back to the farm.

The party was drawing to a close with a drawing from Life Flight.  The kids snagged Mouse Pads (What are those?) was the question of the moment.  We were full of snacks and it was time to head out towards the soccer fields.  We are so thankful for this group of people and all the hard work they do each day to help our community and each family.

Football Night....Final Game

We finally made to the last game of the season.  The boys were really excited to get this game started.  The rumors were swirling that there were playoff games still to come.  However, they still had to play the game.  Most important thing is to have fun.

It was a perfect night to be outside running around.  My camera crew tonight had a few technical problems.  The pictures are all a little blurry.  We can still feel the spirit of the game.

Tired and sweaty they beat the 49ers.  They had to really work for it this time around.  The rumors were true they are going to the playoffs which start next week.

It was time for dinner and finish any homework that wasn't done before we left.

We had a few challenges the previous weekend with a wild rainstorm plus lightening so this event was rescheduled for the birthday weekend.  Reganne told us this was one big birthday party just of her.  The challenge here was being active and getting the kids up and moving.

Let the relay begin....

The Hurricane
Wild slide

Yucky Mud

Over or under?

Completed and getting his pirate medal.

Time for fun
Kids Car Wash

Want some bubbles?

Water Walking Bubbles
What tricks can you do?

We have a red head.

Bungee Jumping

Bend your legs!

Walking the plank.

Chalk Dusting

This is what happens when you run away from the guys with the chalk.

Tired & Messy and a few smiles.
It was a great way to get active and having fun.  The kids were so excited to participate Rylee for school credit, Reganne celebrating her birthday, and Ryder getting his pirate medal.

Everyone was exhausted but there were still presents & cake to have at home.  Showers were first on our list.  They were very dirty and smelly.  We drove home with the windows down.

This was a wild, fun, and tiring weekend.

Birthday Soccer

After a crazy morning celebrating with Reganne it was time to get down to business.  The weather was really warm and after a full belly from lunch a nap should follow.  Wrong, a soccer game needed to played.  They were on fire.

Look at her go.

Who made that goal?

Defense

2nd favorite position....Goalie
It was a great game they won another one.  I am always amazed at the team work they are developing.  She loves playing goalie but most favorite is the rover.

What's next on this crazy day?

A "Roaring" 10th Birthday

It was time to celebrate the 10th Birthday of an awesome kid!!!!  Reganne was eager to make it a perfect day full of fun times.  /She picked breakfast of scones and doughnuts to be shared with the cousins who were visiting.  Mom messed up the schedule of the day it was going to be an early lunch at Red Robin.

Birthday Song with an ice cream sundae.
What better way to end lunch.

Family chowing down on lots of french fries.

She loves all things tiger related.
If she could have a baby tiger for her own she would jump on it.
Lucky for us that it illegal to own one.  However, we could surround her with everything we could find in tiger print.

Special request a new bike.
Ryder was eager for this so they can ride home from school.

A Tiger Cake
It turned out to be awesome and I will never buy another birthday cake from anywhere else.
Marble cake, Bavarian cream, and butter cream icing.
YUMMY!!!

Everyone enjoying the delicious treat.
She claims she had an awesome day and is now sleeping with all her tiger stuff.  She started ROARING through her 10th year.  Let's hope we can all survive here obsession.  We love her stripes and all.

Football Game Cowboys vs Chargers

The boys were ready to play but the crowd wasn't.  In the first 15 minutes the temperature dropped and the wind started to blow.  Our normally perfect football weather turned really chilly.  So no blankets or jackets it was cold.  The boys hung in there but didn't play as well as previous games.

Get his flag.

WOW!!! Boone caught the ball.

Remember the plan.

They started working on the passing game with a few minor hiccups.  The boys were having a hard time catching the ball.  They were all still smiles and were eager for treats and to warm up.  Next week will be the final game of the season.
