New Adventures at Disneyland

Disneyland was going to be open for 24 hours straight and we wanted to join in that adventure.  If we leave early on Saturday morning we could miss the crowds and have our own fun.  We left at 4:30 am yes that's right AM!!!! Everyone woke up before Barstow and wanted to eat NOW!!!!  Pulling of the exit Reganne calls from the back seat "Mom!!! you are going to be mad at me."  WHY????  I forgot my shoes was the reply.  Here it is 8:00 and all the stores are closed.  Lucky for her Rylee had packed 2 pair and she was nice enough to lend one to Reganne.  After a frustrating stop at McDonald;s we were back on the road.

We made it by 10 and they were ready to play.

Star Tours
Thanks, Uncle Bryan for getting Ryder hooked on Star Wars.
He could hardly wait to get on board.
Take my picture with the robots.
Only this cute smile came through.

Onto Super Hero Adventures.
Becoming Ironman
Thor

WOW he is really tall and I got a hug.
Worth the 30 minute wait.

Next up.....

Captain American
Ryder clammed up and would only smile.

Building their dream house

A little different start to the morning, but the kids ate it up.  I am amazed that after 5 trips we can still find new things to try.  What is next?

Kindergarten Graduation

Time for the Kindergarten Program or Graduation what ever you want to call it.  We had to be there bright and early to find a seat.  In marched all the kids 3 teachers and 5 kindergarten classes.

Ryder right in the center.

Do these kids look nervous???
After 5 pictures of trying to get Ryder to look at me.
I gave up.
Ryder & Mrs Guynn
She has been our kindergarten teacher of choice.
She is leaving full time teaching to stay home with her kids.
Ryder and Grandma JeanAnn
He was so excited to have Grandma come and see him.

The sun was bright.
He and I survived our daily trips to school.
We both graduated today.

It's official he is now a First Grader.
I love our school as the kids are ending the school year each have a letter telling them who will be there teacher for next year.  Summer is quickly forgotten as everyone is trying to find out who will be in there class.  Let summer begin....

3rd Grade Talent Show

Parents were not invited to attend.  However, we did have to help them get ready and listen to them practice.  Reganne and her friends were going to sing & dance.

She needed curly hair and she wanted me to curl it like Rylee's for Little Women.  One minor problem no one likes to move it the morning so we had to improvise.

Using water, fingers, and hairspray her hair began to grow. I had call a halt before it grew to much.  She checked it out in the mirror but she couldn't see very well.  Please take a picture so I can see it.

This is what she saw......

Perfect!!!!!

They made the finals and had to change costumes & hair for the next performance.  Reganne informed me that the girls would do her hair for that show.

Trimester Choir

The school year is winding down but not before the final programs showing off their accomplishments.  Rylee's Trimester Choir Concert was first up and another Mom mess up.  The busier we are there are more chances I will mess up the times, places, and even the dates.  This time I wrote down the concert started at 7 and the kids had to be there at 6:20.  I got it part right the kids were supposed to be there at 6:20, but the concert was to start at 6:30.  A quick phone call to Dave to bring Reganne they were going to start in 10 minutes.

Everyone accounted for just in time to watch the kids walk in.

Rylee graduated to the second row.

She got to play an instrument....Tambourine.
They sounded really good and it only lasted 30 minutes.  Now if only we could get a small smile out of the kids.  I guess that will have to wait until next week when school is over.

Final Game for Reganne

The fields are still messed up so Reganne's team played the early game.  It took a little while to warm up but soon they were playing their hearts out.  This always seems to be the best game of the whole season.

Let's get this started.

Who wants it?

I do!!!

Go Reganne

Team cheer.

u10 Sharks
Reganne had a great time playing.  However, she had decided she only wants to play with the girls next year.

Time to run up the hill for Ryder's game.

Fun Find

Dave found another fun find at work.  It was an small bike that attaches to a larger bike.  After finding the parts at the local bike store he was able to put it back together.

Let the fun begin... I missed Ryder's first time but snapped these just in time for Reganne's turn.  Ryder wasn't going to be left behind.  Peddling as fast as he could to keep up with them.

Teaching Reganne to balance.

Wait for me guys!!!!

Who got the better workout???

Let's Have Fun

Games were over so it was time to have fun with Uncle Bryan & Dad.  Dad chose the Tuacahn Car Show so let's go check out the cars.

Love this Corvette it was very patriotic.

Father like son loving the sports cars.

Reganne found Dad's next rv.

Prize tickets
What should we pick?

Time for dinner, baths, and bed.  We decided dinner at the new Rib & Chop House Restaurant in town.  It was fun waiting for our food with butcher paper on the table and loads of crayons everyone loved drawing.  The potatoes were amazing and could be a meal on all their own.  However, the ribs were really spicy and the kids refused to eat more than one.  We can cross that one off our list.

The kids loved having Uncle Bryan here and he was great with them.  He shared his love of Star Wars and the kids ate it up.  Ryder asked the next day how come Indiana Jones was in Star Wars.  We tried to explain to him that it was the same person acting in both movies.  He still isn't convinced.  However, Ryder and Dave have watched 1 thru 3.

Another Soccer Saturday

It was a great day to play soccer.  The kids were ready to show off for Uncle Bryan.  I was excited I would be able to watch Reganne's game & coach Ryder's team and not miss a moment.  Funny how when things are planned out perfectly change happens.  The school where we played decided that today was the perfect day also to rip up the lower fields.  All games for u8 & u10 would have to be scrunched up on the field.  Oops someone forgot to tells the teams that times would change and now both games were scheduled for the same time.

Plan B.....
Rylee would help me with Ryder's practice so I could watch from a distance Reganne's game.  The boys were ready to play and were on their game.

Having fun with the ball.

A full body kick.

Uncle Bryan courtesy of Rylee.

That's Reganne in the distance.
Dig those tractors as a background.

I missed the picture, but she almost made a goal if she hadn't ran into the tree (large boy).

The game in full swing.
I love to watch up here it's easier to see them play.

Time for lunch and get out of the heat.  What's next on the list today????

Checkin Out The New Airplane

Lucky Ryder was able to have a date with Mom before school started.  We were able to see the new airplane going into service this month.  I picked him up early from daycare and off we went.

New Embraer 175

The only time getting this up close and personal.

First Class
He has a few more years before he can sit here.

Larger bathrooms

A new Co-Pilot

Look at all these buttons??
Those tiny screens send text like message between dispatch & pilots during flights.
Technology is awesome.

After eating airplane cookies it was time for school.  He loved seeing, touching, and asking questions about all that he saw.  I can't wait to fly on this plane in the future.
