Another Mission....Wiggly Tooth

Ryder had been working on his wiggly front tooth for weeks.  Dad, teachers, and even friends begged him to let them help and get it out.  He asked Mom for help but sorry that just makes me weak in the knees and my stomach drops.  In other words that was a NO!!!!

On our way to North I reminded him that we would be seeing Aunt Janelle and maybe she would help him out.  Uncle Ryan was even volunteered to help if needed.

Show me....
Yep it's wiggly

Is it wiggly enough?

Yep!!!! It's OUT!!!!
Thanks to Aunt Janelle, Uncle Ryan, and all the supporting cast members.
The task was keeping it safe until we got home since the Tooth Fairy never comes to grandma & grandpa's house.

SURPRISE!!! She did come and left him a dollar.  He was quick to show grandpa that she did come and to never say never again.

The Day After

The day after Christmas is usually reserved for cleaning up, shopping, and working.  This year was different we were headed North to celebrate with family.  We headed off directly into the Christmas snow storm that was blowing through.  I believe a White Christmas is really overrated.  It's beautiful while it's coming down but afterwards it's cold, slushy, and icy.

We made it just in time to celebrate with Morgan on her 10th birthday.  It was party time with the cousins.  11 kids + bounce houses = a great birthday.

First slide

Oomph....A crash landing.

A birthday cupcake.
Hurry make a wish.

Birthday Presents

Paper Dolls from Grandma JeanAnn
A perfect gift for all the girls to enjoy.

We loved spending the afternoon with Morgan and the rest of the family on her special day.  It's hard to believe these 2 girls are 10 already.  Has it really been 2 years since they were baptized?

Merry Christmas

We had high hopes that the puzzle wore them out and we could all sleep in.  We threatened them not to get up before 7 and that worked until 7:01.  Ryder came screaming in telling us to get up now he was ready for presents.

What did Santa bring?
YEAH!!!
Just what we asked for.
Where did the little girl go?
Technology was all she could think of.
Sour candy is what this sweet girl begged for.
Who's idea was it to give him more tools?
Keep everything hidden from this boy or it might never work again.
Kindle's for the kids
Trying to encourage everyone to do more reading.
Will it work?
It's only what time?
Everyone was starving.  Scones & Hot Chocolate coming right up.
We had a great day full of family time.  The best part was staying in our pajamas all day and catching up on our sleep.

We hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas.

Dad's Big Surprise

A puzzle and not just any puzzle but an extremely large on of the State of Utah.  Could we do this before the night ended?

Everyone working together.
Dad started on the borders.
Who has the camera?
We thought Dad was just taking a break.
DONE!!!!

Crazy puzzle
We all learned something about our state.
I bet I can stump you!!
Both girls are studying Utah History so the challenge was on to who knew more.
Dad succeeded with his fifty cent puzzle we finished at it was time for bed.  This might be one activity for next year.  We also donated the puzzle back to the thrift store for some other family to have a fun time.

Twas The Day Before Christmas...

There is so much to do to get ready for the big day.

First up:

Presents to wrap.
Dad's garage made the perfect place to wrap up all the secrets we have been keeping.
Treats to be delivered.
Mom was really slow this year getting treats ready to share, but better late than never.
Christmas Eve Dinner
Dad was craving Chinese food.  We had to hide our smiles when the waiters started talking.
We thought for sure we had stepped back in time to "Christmas Story"
St George Visitors Center
WOW!!!! how many Book of Mormons are there in the world?
Wait a minute can you read any of these?
Annual Christmas Picture
This year they didn't  even need coats.
Anyone home today???
As the daylight was slowly fading away it was time to go home and get ready for that special visitor.  Dad has big plans for tonight.

Elfie

When will Elfie come back, Dad?  Elfie finally showed up and soon began the wonder of the Elf on The Shelf.
One minor problem Ryder was soon waking up at 3 in the morning wandering around the house looking for him.  After getting him back to bed and finally falling back to sleep again.  We had to have a talk about staying in bed all night.
Reganne & Ryder loved looking for him each morning and even tried extra hard to be good.  They hoped that they would stay on the nice list until Christmas.

It looks like someone wants some yummy hot chocolate with marshmallows.

Waters' Sports Update..

The final game of the year and the girls are ready for Christmas Break.  Once again it took them longer to warm up but they are starting to get the hang of the game.

Watch out for the braid.

Let me help.
She is getting really good at playing defense.

So the year ends with another loss.  They are eager to practice and work hard.  We will see everyone in January.

Christmas Projects

The Christmas excitement was kept alive by wonderful teachers with great ideas for classroom crafts.  Each day Ryder brought home a new one each day and wanted to share them with us.

Time for fun.....

Santa Ryder

Gingerbread Houses

Dang frosting it won't stick.

Rylee's House

Ryder's Sleigh

Number one rule don't use butter-cream frosting it melts. If you don't succeed get a glass of milk and eat your efforts.  Reganne taught us how to dunk them into milk and forget about the mess.  Next year we will use different frosting.

Waters' Sports Center....

We are back and busier than ever.  Time to play catch up update all our events.  Reganne's second game was ready to start and they were eager to play.  However, they were off to a slow start and had a hard time catching the other team.

What do we do with out hands?

Get back here!!!

Full of fight
They kept on playing but sadly they couldn't quite catch up.  They still were all smiles and had a good time.  I love these girls and how great of sports they are.  There is always next week.
