We needed a family adventure for the weekend. It was the last weekend of the Cedar City Open House and we didn't have tickets. Should we go early, brave the crowds, and try the standby line?
YES!!!! It meant getting up early on a sleep in day. Let's give it a shot. We were up, dressed, and off by 8:30. The lines were really small and we even found a close parking spot. Only 15 minutes waiting outside before we entered the warm tent to watch the temple movie.

Everyone was starving and cold. Let's head to Denny's for breakfast. Who knew that Denny's could run out of pancakes and no longer serve cheese quesadillas. We filled our stomachs, our hearts were full, and we headed home. I love these quick family adventures. Time to plan some more.
