May has arrived and with it the busyness of the last weeks of school. I almost forgot about the IronKids Fun Run the night before the actual Ironman Race. We were on a mad dash to Towne Square with hopes that he could still participate and run with the other kids.
Our luck held out and registration was still open and they hadn't increased the entrance price. We had a few minutes to wait and enjoy the music. Race time was quickly approaching, but there is always time to warm up.

It doesn't matter what order they happened. |
He finished at 10.8 a couple minutes better than last year. He missed running with friends but had a great time. He discovered what an Iron Man race is swimming, biking, and running. He loves doing all three and decided maybe in the future he will run this one for real.
Time will tell...
