Mother's Day Weekend

+ Payson Temple Open House = A busy weekend.  We were lucky to get tickets for the open house on a Saturday and no less Mother's Day Weekend.  St George was rainy with baseball getting cancelled.  We were off with the hopes of sunny skies which was not to be the rain followed us the whole way.

Photo booth...Dave was outside waiting for us.

Thank goodness for large umbrellas.
We kept dry but not warm.

Reganne & the statue of Christ.
We couldn't get any closer unless we waited in line

Outside it was still raining, but we needed a family picture.
We were lucky that Larry & Carrie were having a family lunch before and after our tour of the temple.  It was great to see everyone that could make it.

Google Chat with Amber.
You have to love technology we were able to visit
and see the new grandbaby Andrew.
Henlie popped in to say hi and have Grandma read her a story.

Love these ladies and has so much fun visiting with them.

Free Samples
We had to stop for pizza on the way to grandma's house.
Who could pass up a free sample of Deep dish Pepperoni Pizza wrapped in bacon?
ME!!!! It looked disgusting but tasted yummy.
Spending Mother's Day with our Special Grandma's was perfect.  We went to church with Grandma  JeanAnn and they gave the mother's a large chocolate bar.  They had the primary kids sing as well as all the men in the ward sing.  Dave & Ryder got up with Grandpa Chris it was great.

We then made our way to the Beehive House to visit Grandma Henderson.  It had been awhile since we had been to visit her but she remember us and was all smiles that we had stopped by.

A Mother's Day Selfie

Not bad for a challenged mother.  We love this special lady and were glad we could spend a small portion of her Mother's Day with her.

It was time to head home after the busy weekend full of family, good food, and special memories.
