Ryder is 6 Months Old

It is hard to believe that 6 months have passed already. The proof is in the pictures. It is amazing how fast he is growing. His 6 month checkup stats are really good. He weighed in at 13 pounds 5 ounces, 24 3/4 inches long. He is doing wonderfully. We are still working on his reflux / GERD with a different medication Raglan. If it works it should tighten his sphincter muscle so it will close his stomach. So far the results have been mixed. The spitting up has slowed down, but he also started eating cereal. So it could be either. If this medicine doesn't work they will increase the dosage of Previcide. I have been told that he should come with a warning label "Warning, Could blow at any moment". We love him anyway. Spitup and all.

I love these pictures. He was not the best for these. The more she tried to pose him or cluck his chin or make funny noises. The cranker he became. Needless to say I am impressed these turned out as well as they did.

Cute pictures. Robyn spit up a lot which was totally different than Annalise who never, ever spit up. Fortunately it did finally stop when she was about 8 months old. Those burp clothes that your mom gave with the blankets sure came in handy. I hope the medicine works.

The spitting up should stop when he starts to spit up and his sphincter naturally closes around 9-10 months. Anyway that's what they told us with Gracie, because she too was a projectile spitter upper. The medicine makes it less painful for them, but doesn't do much for what comes out.
