It is hard to believe that 6 months have passed already. The proof is in the pictures. It is amazing how fast he is growing. His 6 month checkup stats are really good. He weighed in at 13 pounds 5 ounces, 24 3/4 inches long. He is doing wonderfully. We are still working on his reflux / GERD with a different medication Raglan. If it works it should tighten his sphincter muscle so it will close his stomach. So far the results have been mixed. The spitting up has slowed down, but he also started eating cereal. So it could be either. If this medicine doesn't work they will increase the dosage of Previcide. I have been told that he should come with a warning label "Warning, Could blow at any moment". We love him anyway. Spitup and all.
I love these pictures. He was not the best for these. The more she tried to pose him or cluck his chin or make funny noises. The cranker he became. Needless to say I am impressed these turned out as well as they did.

Happy Easter Part 1
Our Easter is usually split into 2 day celebration. There are so many Spring / Easter activities here in St George that it not hard to fill up our time with fun things to do. Saturday starts off with our annual neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt and Breakfast. We meet down the street and the egg hunt is divided into three age groups. This is the first year that Rylee & Reganne were at the same house. They had so much fun trying to find their eggs, but it ended much to soon from them. It also was still a little chilly so we had to wear jackets.
Next came the St George Arts Festival. This year it was greatly expanded with double the art displays. Rylee loved see all of the pictures and want me to take pictures so she could get ideas. She has informed me that she is going to be an artist when she grows up. The Splash Pad is a new feature to downtown and what a wonderful addition. I told the girls not to get wet, but to have fun. I knew that it would only be a matter of time and they would be soaked.

It took about 5 minutes...
And they were soaked. Ryder felt left out so Dave took him down to the edge and splashed some water on him. He loved it !!! His arms and legs where doing 90 at least. The tempature was about 72 degrees and a slight breeze. When they were finished they were cold. Walking back to the car Reganne kept saying "Hey I am Freaking Cold" I had to have her repeat herself a couple of times to make sure I heard her right. Then it was all I could do not to laugh out loud.

We Love To Read
We do love to read. Since Rylee started Kindergarten she is required to read each night for 15 minutes. So now everyone grabs a book and we read. Rylee is doing really well reading on her own. She beams when she finishes a book. Her favorites right now are the Junnie B Book Series. Reganne wants the same books every night. Dora Halloween, Princess Halloween, or My Halloween Book. Ryder loves to sit in the middle and help hold the books. He will fuss if he is not included and the girls make sure he is. This has become part of our bedtime routine along with singing. Bed time is becoming my favorite part of the day.

Family Hair Night
Wow Look At All That Hair!!! We had a fun night on Friday. Rylee & Reganne decided to cut their hair short for the summer. Then they decided we would try and donate their hair to Locks Of Love. However, their hair wasn't long enough since they needed 10 inches. I found Pantene that takes donations for their Million Inches Campaign. They accept 8 inches as the minimum length. They then make the wigs and give them to the American Cancer Society. So their hair will not be wasted.
We also decided it was time for Ryder's first haircut. He is about 3 months behind the girls. They each had theirs cut at 3 months old. He was a real pro and never cried. He only wiggled at the end.

We Are Happy & Growing
It is amazing to me how fast my kids are growing and changing almost daily.
Ryder loves to sit up or stand up when you are holding him. He loves to play with his toys and is getting really good at picking them up. Not so good at letting them go.

He can roll to his side (never onto his tummy) and watch everyone. That is until Reganne sees him and promptly pushes him back. She tells him no no baby you are to little. He then smiles back at her and tries again.
They love to have their picture taken. However, they fight over who gets to hold Ryder. He laughs the whole time until they get to rough. He will then spit up all over and they are quickly done with him.
