Celebrating the 4th of July was over last night. This morning bright and early the NatD Team headed off to Las Vegas for the 2024 Firecracker Swim Meet in Summerlin. Dave & I decided to go and support Ryder and the team. We were off as well with the car loaded.
We made it!!
Yep that's Ryder!!
First event of the meet.
Ryder getting into the zone.
Time to cool off after a
hot day poolside.
"Bikeriders"
If you can't tell we have
reclining seats.
Too bad I don't have a blanket this would
be a great place for a nap.
Another session
Warm ups, waiting, racing, waiting some more.
Drink, eat, drink, and eat some more.
The heat is killing everyone.
Warming up
200 or 400 IM
Amazing to watch him move through the water.
Final Day!!
Bagels for the team to enjoy.
Can you say HOT!
These knives bent and curled!!
They were not even in the sun.
Leaving Las Vegas 118
By afternoon it hit a record breaking 120!!
Glad that we are traveling
North instead of South.
Just in time
to meet the bus and get the exhausted swimmer home.
Piper was so excited
Ryder was home!!
The kids were amazing. Their hard work is paying off dropping time, best times, and even a few first places.
