The weather people keep telling us that monsoon season is going to pass us by once again. Everyone is believing them and complaining about the drought. Then BAM!!! the clouds came, followed by the wind, and way too fast was the thunder & lightening. Dave loves sitting out back watching the weather every night.
Tonight we all sat outside and watched.
One drop and then a second one.
Piper. came out to inspect
the water falling all around.
The wind was whipping
the rain sideways.
It kept on coming.
We had to check the basement
the water was to the door.
Rylee's door let the rain in
the fast moping action took over.
Our weather station showed an inch of water in an hour. We love the water and are very grateful. It would be great if there wasn't flooding and fires.

Everyone is in clean up mode around town. It needs to be done before the next storm comes through. It looks like it will be a couple of days before it arrives.
