It seems that our Saturdays are always full of errands, sports, and friends. However, this Saturday there were no sports and plenty of errands. I took a break and headed outside to check on Ryder and the dogs. Ryder quickly showed me the jungle gym and all the fun stuff he could do on it.
Howling at the morning sun. I had to remind him that the neighbors were still asleep. |
Watch me swing from the slide. |
Teaching Ginger a new trick. Climbing a ladder and the sliding down on the slide. |
I had no idea that dogs could actually do that, but she loved following Ryder around the yard.
Lunch time Ryder just couldn't resist climbing in the old fire truck. |
It was a somewhat relaxing day without deadlines or schedules. Who knew we would be wearing shorts and flip flops in November. Now if we could only keep the time the same and do away with either Daylight Savings or Standard Time.
Most of us are ready to end the day at 7 when it gets really dark. We do have a couple of rebels that aren't ready to call it a night until 10. I end up staying up later after begging, pleading, and maybe a few threats for those rebels to go to bed. Hopefully, this week will be easier.
