Soccer Saturday Double Header

Saturday arrived with beautiful weather and much needed mental preparedness.  Reganne was going to play a doubleheader today in Enoch.  The first game started at 1:30 so this meant we had to leave home at 12 to arrive in time to warm up.

Could she play without her lucky sweatshirt??  The Premier Keeper was there and walking pretty good.  She will hopefully be released by the doctor before their next game.

Wearing her new Goalie Shirt
She now matches from the tip of her gloves to
the end of her shoes.

She meant business and tried her hardest.
Interesting side note.  These fields are located right of I-15 and as the cars & trucks passed by they would honk their encouragement to the girls.

The game ended 10 minutes late so their wasn't any downtime before the next game started.  This game was going to be different than all the rest.  Reganne was going to play a new position of Mid-Defender.  Could she do it?  The coaches believe that with her size and her power kick that the other team will cower away.

Let's see if they are right?

Watching and waiting.

Watching and Learning

Duplicating
She patiently watched and waited until just
the right time to strike.
She played a great second game keeping the attempts on our goal down to only 11 and 1 goal.  We were able to score 2 for the win.  The girls were so excited to have won the game away from home.  Reganne was tired and a little sore from being tackled multiple times while goalie & defender.  The most important part was the smile on her face and the comment that "It wasn't that bad playing the new position"

There were a couple of days to rest before their next game.  Hopefully, she will recharge enough to play another tough team.
