Political Buzz

The news is full of the Presidential Race that is raging right now.  We have had many conversations of how the systems works, who do we support, and who will we vote for.  I started doing my research to find the best one person in January and as each one has dropped out the field gets narrower every day.
This year with Utah's Caucus being earlier than usual I was surprised to see the candidates making it to Northern Utah.  However, there was one that came to Southern Utah to share his message.

Many protests sprouted in the car on the way over, but I felt it was a good thing to experience and maybe learn more about the crazy election process.  We might possibly learn something.

If looks could wound.  This one would be fatal.
Ryder trying to tease her  and lighten the mood.
Waiting for it to start.
It was a much older crowd which is concerning to me.
Will people be swayed the media or
will they learn for themselves?

Warming up the crowd.....and we are still waiting.

John Kasich
Late to his job interview.
It was very interesting to listen to him and his views.  They aren't the most popular or supported but it was really informative.  Dave's first impression was not good.  If you are interviewing for a job you should always be on time.  Not arrive 30 minutes late.  This wouldn't float in the real world.

On our way home Rylee thanked me for forcing her to come it was very interesting.

Only time will tell how this all plays out but I wanted to teach our kids that getting involved and learning is never wasted.  I am sure the conversations will keeping happening around our dinner table and value their opinions.  They amaze us each day.
