Graduation 2023 Part 1

Let's go back to Sunday with seminary graduation at the stake center. This is something new for us to celebrate her achievement. Rylee didn't have an official graduation due to COVID.  Our stake had over 50 graduates.

Love that smile!!
We are so proud of you.

Graduation Announcement
designed by Reganne

Heart Attach courtesy
of our young woman of the ward.

They also placed this sign in our yard.

She is head for the school.
Bright and early to be at the school at 7:30.

Doesn't she look amazing!!
I couldn't get her slow down at home.
This picture is much better with all her lei.

Head into the gym to line up.

Oops!
I still have her medallion.

Where o where is Reganne?
Found her actually behind me sitting with her friends.

Stage looks great

A little bright the sun is shining bright at 7:30
on the football field.

Another COVID change.
Graduations at 8:00 a.m. before it get too hot.
On the football field with plenty of fresh air  for everyone.

We see activity on the stage.
It must mean the graduates are close.

The graduates should be here any minute. I can't wait to see them all walk in together.

May Madness

We are well past March Madness but May Madness fits this week perfectly. Busy work, school, swim schedules are in full swing.

Once again Ryder has
earned a 4.0 for the 3rd year in a row.
This is a good start for the next 3 years of high school.
We are so proud of him and his hard work.

Clean Oven?
Well, many nights of scrubbing it does look pretty clean.
I have been deep cleaning my kitchen over the past couple of months.
This is one of the last jobs I need to finish.
Not sure how to separate the door to clean inside. Asked Dave for help
he couldn't figure it out either.

Graduation Goodie Bag
from the Relief Society.
Everything is yellow for happiness.
They really spoiled the girls.

Some one got a haircut.
Bath & shave to control the shedding
will be perfect haircut for the summer.

Happy Mother's Day
from Rylee
Good smelling stuff that I can't wait to use.

Reganne's gift
A bouncing tiger.
She makes my day by her creativity.
The boys gave me a succulent arrangement.
Love it, but how long can I keep it alive?
.

Dang knee!!
It is still swollen but slowly going down.
I am however walking faster.

Getting ready to swim
It's the annual swim a thon.
How fast can you swim the mile?

Finished!!
It's also Light Off Lock In Party
Ryder decided this is one he will miss.
He is hungry and tired.

Graduation week is right around the corner. No amount of May Madness will take away the importance of how hard Reganne has worked.

DHHS Scholarship & Student Awards Night

I received an email from the counselors office reminding parents that the award night were coming up and to mark your calendar. The invitations are in the mail. A couple of days passed before I connected with Reganne to ask her if she had seen any invitations. Oh Yeah!! I did get something at school mentioning awards night. She produced an invitation to both events. That's fine she tells me but she isn't going. Monday arrives she agrees to go but not go up on stage. I agreed and we left to get a seat in the back.

We had our pick of seats and let Reganne lead the way. She found seats by Liz a friend from a couple of classes. No pictures if I go up.

She did it!!
Two scholarships from Utah Tech & SUU

Program
The promise of being done in an hours.

Other program
also claiming only 1 hour ceremony.

Between treat
Very Yummy

She earned her Pathway Medallion
for Animal and Vet Science

Receiving her medallion
from Mr Bleak

They all can wear their medallions
at graduation.

I'm out of here!!!

Who can blame her after sitting for 2 hours. We are so proud of her and the hard work she put into receiving the medallion. Only a couple more days of high school for this girl. Next up Seminary Graduation.

No Time for Exhaustion

Every day seems bring with it an activity that is a must see or do. Here are some quieter moments. That we did catch our breath.

1:30 church time is perfect for
sleeping in. Unless Dave has bishopric meetings.
Dave found time to relax between meeting and sacrament meeting.
Indy joined him for a quick snuggle.

Now Piper is trying to decide
how to get in on those snuggles for herself.

Gunlock Falls
from a distance.
Way too many people hiking towards it. Plus $10 fee to hike.
We finished our drive on loop to Veyo.

Another Hello Fresh Meal
It looked and tasted yummy
Thanks Rylee & Ruston for sharing.

Look who got a bath and haircut.
She was shedding horribly and Dave's allergies
are acting up. So either a shave or new home.
We tried the shave at PetSmart.
She was really wiggly but they finally finished.
Dexter was declined due to really matted ears. Another trip to the vet before he can go back.

Reganne lost a nail.
I found this on the floor and tried to give it back to her.
They cost way too much to lose them.

I have slowed down and even had a nap. All in preparation for the next 2 weeks full of school activities. The question that keeps popping up in my mind...Will is slow down after Memorial Day?
