Soccer Game Night vs The Bolts

We are back to Sullivan Soccer Fields for a weeknight game.  First off was a moment of silence for all the victims from the Las Vegas shooting and all the natural disasters over the past couple of months.  What a sight to see all both teams linking arms, along with coaches, parents, and officials forming a circle.   All the turmoil in the world it was great to see everyone stop for a minute and come together for the minute.

It was now time to get the game rolling.  The girls were ready to play.

This game was a tough one.  The Bolts came to play and take control by setting the pace.  Our girls fought back with everything they had the game ending in a tie 3 to 3.  However, one disclaimer is that they only scored one goal and the other 2 were off penalty kicks.  The game was aggressive with our Keeper getting hurt and getting helped off the field.

It was a tough game full of emotions and maybe a lot of frustration.   Our second tie of the season this calls for more hard work.
