W&W Camp Out

Time to go camping!!! Everyone was so excited to get out of the heat and up to much cooler temperatures.  Let's play and have fun.

After setting up camp it was time to play.
The weather was much cooler due to earlier rain.  Everyone soon had their jackets on. The ranger gave the ok for a fire. Dave & Blake gave it the good old fashioned try, but little success due to the moisture in the air. 

After a yummy breakfast it was time to go for a hike.

Our little dare devil.  He loves to follow his Dad and try anything once or maybe twice.

One misstep + slick logs = a slow motion fall for Dave.
He was a good sport and still let me have my picture.

After a trip to InstaCare he came back with 7 stitches and a sprained wrist he was good to play games with Ryder

Time for dinner...Could the Dad's still cook?
Sure could it was yummy.
The best hot dogs, hamburgers, and smores yet.

Let's learn about lightening.
Dave took all the kids and they came back with  a lot of facts about lightening.

It was the best weekend get away we have had in awhile.  The best part is the kids learned something new about lightening and with monsoon season here they get to share each night as we watch the lightening storms.
