I have always said that the only place to celebrate the 4th of July is in Idaho and they do it up right. This year with the Johnson Family Reunion I was able to relive some of my favorite memories and share them with my family. One thing I couldn't recreate for them is the long ride into town in the wagon pulled by the horses. This wagon was pulled by Uncle Alton's truck.

The town movie theater...How many movies did we watch while
visiting?
Walking the parade route with Carla
Tired out, out of candy, and ready to ride.
The first church I remember going to and the only one that the Catholic church backs up te to the parking lot.
During primary we would look out the windows and watch them come out of church. We were also very curious about the Nunnery (this is what we called it) and always tried to catch a peek at the nuns.
It was a great morning and everyone had a great time. What's next on the agenda?
