Milestone Moment .....
I love milestone moments and as the kids get older those moments are farther and farther apart. This milestone moment makes me get teary eyed. Babyhood is quickly fading away into childhood. That first paper with their name printed however messy gets me every time. This is the time I have to admit he is no longer my baby but growing and changing into a stinky little boy. Full of energy, loud noises, and crazy actions.
This is the little boy while I was helping him get dressed for church asked me why I have vampire teeth. Better to eat you with my boy. Then at church he climbed up on my lap and snuggled all through sacrament meeting. How can I keep him small?? Maybe stop feeding him??

Soccer Saturday Finale
This weekend was our finale soccer game of the year. Ryder was convinced that we were wrong and he missed his game last weekend to. He was also told by everyone that it was going to rain and soccer would be cancelled. Saturday arrived and so did the rain. However, it didn't last very long and soon it was time to play. We arrived at game time to empty fields. We waited a few minutes and everyone showed up.
Let's get the game started.
Get back here.
Oops we lost it again. We are tired do we still have to chase it?
I need to walk.
Here we go again. Get that ball!!!
Empty fields
Our cheering section go Blue Angel Jets.
Yeah Fireballs!!!
Their favorite time of the game...TREATS!!!!
Trophies for everyone + plus a surprise from an awesome coach.
Look what we got. Aren't they awesome?
As we left the field and headed to a birthday party Ryder informed me that he wanted to play next season. I asked what changed his mind. Trophies, Mom was the reply. Trophies? I replied yeah I want to collect them. He is ready to start playing again Spring can't come soon enough to add another trophy to his collection.
I am ready for a break even if it is only one weekend before basketball season starts.

Friday Night Fun
This week has been really crazy and we needed a break. Our first plan was the Jubilee of Trees but they closed at 4:00 to the public. Instead it was the rock wall at the rec center and surprise friends from summer camp were there also.
Hang on and reach a little higher.
Use your left hand, not that left your other left. Sore arms were the result of the night, but he made it to the top.
Reach further and she did moving higher than last time.
Go again, wait you have to use your hands and feet. Not just the rope.
Closing time let's get ice cream and call it a night.Tomorrow was a busy day.

Reganne's Baptism Day
Reganne has been waiting patiently for this day to come. We were not allowed to ask her questions about her baptism it seemed to make her nervous. It was finally time to head to the stake center. She was ready to get the day started. Her smile and excitement was catching it was going to be a great day.
The candidates minus one.
Naomi, Abbey, and Reganne
This group was really large so we scored the chapel.
Dad & Reganne
Mom, Reganne, and Dad
Her turn came she was nervous but hid it well as she reached for Dave's hand. Afterwards as she walked towards me I was reminded that she was as clean and free from sin as the first time the doctor handed her to me when she was born. All I could do was hug her and tell her how much I loved her and that I was so proud of her.
Lunch time...Nothing like a big sandwich, chips, and brownies.
Playtime with the cousins. As sick as he is we were glad for the surprise of having Nate there to share this day with Reganne. It's not very often that your cousin who is a missionary gets to participate in your confirmation. Our prayers are with him that they find out what is making him so sick so he can continue his mission.
Oops we almost forgot a few presents to round out the day.
I love this smile and I hope she always remembers to choose the right so the Holy Ghost will guide her.
The smile and happiness radiated from her all day and continued today. She is a very special girl and we are proud to be her parents.
Sunday Afternoon
Sunday afternoon what to do, what to do??? Today with stake conference and the end of Daylight Savings Time we had extra time on our hands. The kids were bored and wanting to eat all the Halloween candy in one big gulp. Time for action.... Let's feed the ducks.
Come here ducks....
Not too close.
Can you throw from here?
We want more food....
Who's going to fall in first? YEAH, Nobody.
Let's go on a nature walk.
Let's throw rocks. Instead let's collect rocks. .
I quickly dashed that dream no more rocks in the house
Everyone was ready for lunch and with any luck maybe some candy.

Second Game in Stereo
The best thing about having soccer Saturday at the college during football season is the music. Soccer goes better with background music. Reganne was anxious to start if only the other game would finish.
Kick that ball...Nothing like a full body kick to start the day.
Defense and fancy footwork are in order for this game.
Who has the ball and where did it go?
Get it in.
Let's score
My ball
Good game Green Diva's
Everyone was worn out and ready for lunch. Too bad we had to stop first at the library for books to read.

Soccer Saturday...Game One
After having two weeks off you would think the boys would be excited to play. Ryder however, had other plans. He wanted to go but watch instead of play. He wanted treats but not kick the ball. Too bad so sad you have to play little boy to get the treats. We played another Little Valley boys team and they were also slow to arrive.
Let's take a team picture before we start. That dang sun once again is in the wrong place.
Get that ball.
Get it in the net.
Oops were did the ball go?
Keep it up boys.
Is it lost again?
The boys all had fun and the best part was double the snacks. No time to stop onto Reganne's game.

Happy Halloween 2012
This year was no different in craziness for Halloween Week. Monday came with the Rec Center Party. Followed by the ward party on Tuesday. Needless to say by the time Wednesday arrived I was worn out before the day even started. The question for the day is will everyone survive?
First activity was the Halloween Parade at school. The sun was up and right in position to make pictures hard to take and hard to look at. The other shining moment was all the smiles on the kids faces as they walked by. The day had finally arrived where they can dress up, eat candy, play games, and eat more candy.
Reganne... Angel, oops I broke my halo. Can you hold it for me?
Next up was the Mr Larsen's Fourth Grade Class. The Chef and lot's cooked up for today.
Shawn...The Black Ninja
Next up 5th Grade
Who needs a nurse? Rylee surely will help you feel better.
Christiana...Black Cat
The Crew ready to trick or treat
Cat, Ninja, Angel, Nurse, and Thomas the Train.
First house...Nobody home, but left treats at the door.
The Haunted House....Enter if you dare?
Where did they go?
The crew home with bags full ready to dig in.
Wow, who robbed the candy store?
It was a successful day everyone had fun with this crazy holiday. I was worn out as well after 14,950 steps taken during the day. My feet hurt and I am ready for bed.
