Reganne's Birthday Weekend

Wow it is hard to believe that Reganne is 5 years old. She could hardly wait for her birthday and her party. She had great plans and was eager for Saturday to get here. This was the year for her big party. We decided to share her party with a daycare friend who's birthday was October 1st. This way the kids wouldn't have to decide which party to attend. The theme was Pink Princess. They had a fun time in our backyard jumping on the trampoline, playing on the swingset, and bouncing in the bounce house.

Reganne; she needed a juice break.
Reganne's Cake "Barbie Diamonds in the Castle" This was the final choice.

Reganne & Sierra "Birthday Girls"

Ryder & the pinata
Little brother had to be in on the action and try. Everyone had to stand way back because he was crazy with stick.

Sierra & Uncle Randy
This pinata broke much easier than the purple horse. Just a note buy authenic and not from Walmart & Target. They are much easier to break and the kids loved the colors.

Wow look at the candy and toys! It was a mad scramble to get the goodies.

Robin & Brinton
I am not letting go where is my goodie bag.

Sunday was the official day. Reganne could not believe that she was five. She kept giving us strange looks and then would smile. So I am not sure what was running through her head.

We had a smaller family party with Macaw, Uncle Randy, Brinton, and Holland. She loved every minute of it.

Reganne opening her presents. Each one was greeted with the same excitement.

This picture says it all. WOW!!!!

She got her big girl bike. She has been riding a very small bike and we thought she was going to break it with her wild riding. This one is much better suited for her. Thanks the salesman who helped us size it correctly.
Our birthday tradition is the birthday person gets to pick their favorite place to eat. Reganne's first pick was Del Taco. Dave promptly told her that she needed to pick someplace she hadn't been for awhile. Del Taco is her weekly choice for Monday. So she decided she wanted the peanut place. Translation: Texas Roadhouse. We asked them to sing to her. They brought a saddle for her to sit on as they did a cheer. She turned to Dave & I and asked how they knew her name.
After all the exitement she told me she loved her birthdays and can we do this again tomorrow. She thinks everyone gets a birthday weekend.

A Texas Roadhouse just opened nearby. We haven't been yet but I've heard all about the peanut shells on the floor. Oh, and I agree about the pinatas. I had a friend bring one back from Mexico and it was so much easier to break. The ones here in the states you need to take a saw to it. Happy birthday Reganne!
