That Ship Has Sailed

Ryder's decided to do high school swim this year. Well to swim he needs to have a sports physical. I am a bad mom and missed getting one last year. What are the chances of getting this taken care of in 2 weeks. We must be living right his appointment is 2 days before the deadline. Of course this was to easy they called and needed to change his appointment to the day after the deadline. I found out after calling the athletic secretary and found out the deadline wasn't the final one. They need the paperwork in the next week.

I felt lucky but Ryder wasn't so sure. He has begged, pleaded, debated, and even demanded over the past 4 years not to get shots. He is definitely my child in hating to get shots. This is all he could talk and think about since the appointment was scheduled. When asking Dr. Twiggs if he could delay those nasty things for another year. The answer was Nope, that ship has sailed. Thank goodness the medical assistant was good at giving them. He only complained about one of them.

All done!!
Reward a Snickers Bar

Work those arms!
Also, finish your candy bar so we can get lunch.

All the nerves worked up and appetite
He devoured lunch in under 10 minutes

Look was we found!!
A grease monkey bowtie from Mesquite.
Amazing what you can find at Rylee & Ruston's house.

Everyone is exhausted after that doctor's visit. Ryder's arm was sore for a week. A Snickers won't be enough of an incentive for another shot. It's going to cost me.
