Long Course Kickoff Meet

Long Course Season is here again and luckily we are still open enough to start the season.  The kids times are all from 2019 which is a long time ago to these growing athletes.  Ryder has been working so hard attending practices each day, trying to eat healthier, and going to be early.

We are excited to travel to Cedar City @ SUU Campus.

All is quiet!!
This pool is so impressive when setup for long course.
It is fun to watch new kids when they walk in and see the size of the pool.

It's a little chilly
still in Cedar City in the mornings.

He is ready to jump in
for the 400 IM

Now time to play.
Easter Egg Drop

Each age group had their turn
gathering as many eggs as possible.

The kids all swam really well.  Not many DQ's which is good for the officials.  However, Ryder made a strange more that I missed while swimming in my lane.  The sun was in his eyes and his flag count was off.  Thus he did a flip turn in the middle of the pool and still finished 1st place in the heat.  He picked the best place in the pool to make a mistake and avoid being DQ'd.
