Our school year starts early for not being a year round school. This year is no different however, for us Reganne goes to school all day as a First Grader. We had tried to get into school mode a couple of weeks ago, but we failed. Sunday night arrived and we enforced bedtime there were protests. Trying to wake them up on Monday morning there were protests. The excitement was in the air to meet their teachers and see old friends. They could hardly wait until 8:30 for Dad to take them to school. First things first we must have pictures of the event.

Must wear shorts. It has been 105 degrees at least this past week.
Rylee - Fourth Grade
Reganne - First Grade
They survived the first day with weary smiles. Reganne asked to change her name to something else so the teachers could pronounce it. Rylee chattered away about her day and how cool her room is in the trailers. Reganne wasn't sure she learned anything, but lunch was good.
Week 2 starts tomorrow. Let's hope we all survive.

Sounds just like our first day of school! Except Brinton got up WAY too early so he was completely exhausted by the end of the day. Hard to believe that little trio is now in 1st grade!
