Another Saturday full of soccer and fun.  This week the kids were ready to play and have fun.  They were the away team which means they were dressed in white.

Who is going to kick it?

Wait for me I want to kick it.
Please let me make the goal.
Team cheer and high fives all around.
Time for more fun.....

Soccer Saturday....Game 1

Lucky for us this weeks games were at different times so we were able to cheer both teams on and have fun.

Here they come.
And there they go.
Kick it in.
Goal kick...I think that is what it is called.
I am trying to learn this game since we are watching it for 2 hours each week.
Team cheer.
They played really well and had fun in the process.
Let's go find our spot for the next game.

2013 Family Pictures

Where did the year go?  It is time already for family pictures and this year was anyone's guess where it would be.  We headed out towards Kolob Canyon.  However, we found a perfect spot before reaching the canyon.  This cool spot has water, trees, old wooden structures, and a lot of dirt.

Are we there yet?
He fell asleep before we hit the canyon road.
How about this spot?
How about goofy?
We sure fit this perfectly.
Just add waters.
I don't think this should be taken literally.

Dave practicing his picture skills.
Not bad at all.
Sisters
Dave's skills are getting pretty good.  Maybe I should hand the camera over.
Just hangin around.
4 little monkeys but wait....
5th Monkey joining in the fun.
Until one gets hurt.
Lucky for us nobody got hurt on this trip.

The pictures turned out great and mine weren't bad either.  It was a fun afternoon and a perfect way to end a weekend.

Crazy Soccer Saturday

I knew this day would come with two kids playing soccer and I was really glad that it was Dave's day off so he could help out.  Both games started at the same time and we were going to help ref the game.  So guess what very few pictures.

Goalie Reganne
She really hates playing this position.
Is it because she has to hold still?
Go Sharks!!!
The games are over and we all survived!!!
I learned a valuable lesson today.  I can't be a ref for Reganne's games.  I want to watch, cheer, and take pictures.  The wonderful part was they both played really well.  Time for lunch out with Dad.

Happy Birthday Reganne.....

The Ninth Birthday had finally arrived and it was on a Friday so get ready to party.  Reganne wanted a Monster High Party with black and pink decorations.  What she wasn't prepared for was all her presents being from Monster High.  How did they guess that is what she wanted??

Time to party with her friends from school.  The girls were so much different than the boys at Ryder's party.  They weren't interested in eating but wanted to play games and be outside.

Friends and games what better combo?

A Pinata??
Cake?
She wanted an ice cream cake, but I failed at adding her name.
Better luck next year.
Make a wish...Will she tell us?
Nope!
What a wild group.
More presents and more Monster High stuff.

Birthday Dinner @ Red Robin
Ice Cream Sundae for dessert.
Crazy Kids
The birthday weekend drew to a close she was full of birthday cake, pinata candy, and presents.  Now she is planning Christmas.

We love you Reganne and really glad you are a part of our family.

The Three Little Pigs

Ryder came home with a story to tell about the 3 Little Pigs.  Each time he told it the more exaggerated it became.  This was the hands on story of the week.  He loves kindergarten and loves to share all that he has learned each day.

One problem with all this excitement is I am running out of space to store everything.  Three kids, one husband, and myself = Too much stuff!!!!!!  I read a tip in a magazine take a picture and throw the original away.  My added advice would be to do this in secret to avoid tears and having to keep it anyway because it is their treasure.

Nope!!!!

We had one more game to go.  Reganne's coach Row was also the Referee Instructor of our training Rylee & I took this summer.  I thought it would be a good idea to learn more about this game we watch every Saturday.  After a 5 hour class and a 5 page test we both passed.  However, Rylee got a higher score than I did.  We are both certified to referee u8 and u10 games.

Row has decided that we are going to use the knowledge we gained in class and ref games each Saturday. He snagged Rylee at the end of Reganne's game to try one of her own.

She did an amazing job and with Rowland's help did good enough that the teams wanted her back next week.

Now it was time for lunch and get out of the sun.
