Rain or Shine

It is always a guessing game in St George from February to June. In the morning you are cold running the heater to afternoons where you need the A/C. The Easter Bunny canceled his appearance at the BON Family Easter Party due to massive rain in the forecast. To be rescheduled for Wednesday. It turned out to be a beautiful night. Great food, a lot of fun with friends and families. 

It's now time for the Easter Egg Hunts

We came to hang out as well.

Rylee had bought a get to know your family game or trivia.

It was fun to hear each other's answers and learn more about our family.

Time for a break and try Digby's Market Dole Whips. Amazing!! The first lick takes you back to Disneyland. Mental note to have this again.

Movie time!!

Dave has a hard time sitting still on Saturdays.

Movies and popcorn do the trick.

This was a great movie a definite see.

It has been an exhausting week. Thank goodness there is nap time after church.

It lived up to her expectations and was a fun experience. Indy stayed home with us. She was not happy about it and we all survived.

Being Adventurous

Are you up for an adventure this week? Some yes but mostly no way!! Or you have fun with that!

2024 Caucus

Ours. was held at one of the local elementary schools. So many precincts smooshed together.

Found my room, didn't find many people that I knew. This one sooo different than previous meetings. Same technical difficulties, same room, and same chatter.

Other than it wasn't the same old chatter. People were looking for a fight or at least an argument with whomever was talking. After 2 hours of chaos I snuck out and headed home.

Take away it is a good system when people are willing to work together. No so good when everyone takes offense at every turn.

Well I found some sugar free on Amazon.

When there is a warning label on candy maybe read the fine print.

Dave was all in and took a handful. Then another one.

I found him locked in the bathroom.

Needless to say no more jellybeans. Recommendation if you need a colonoscopy eat 

one bag and be good to go for the procedure.

This boy didn't cry wolf

He went on date hiking and came home not feeling very good.

We left him sleep it off and miss church.

When I got home he was still in bed. He is never in bed after 7:00 unless he is sick.

Thank goodness it was only a 24 hour bug.

Mommy Time

They did a good job. My feet thank them.

They didn't run me off for disgusting feet.

Hopefully with summer coming I will do this more frequently.

We are always open to safe adventures. Definitely not deadly ones.

What A Weekend

How much stuff can you cram into a weekend before you look forward to Monday to relax. This was one of those weekends.

dancing and having fun. Soon everyone in the group was enjoying the craziness.

No Baked Cookies

Soon the cookies were gone and I saw smiles. If only for a short time.

Senior Swim Night

A fun night for the parents to celebrate our swimmers at the end of short course season. This group of kids are always busy with swimming, school, jobs, swimming, eating, swimming. Tonight it's all about the eating!!

M&M Salad

What happens when you see something crazy on social media. 

Then trying it.

A few kids were brave enough to give it a try. Other's chuckled and I went home with

a bowl of M&M Salad.

I sure enjoyed it!!

It will probably last a couple of months. There is no other salad that can compete with that.

This group of kids have supported each other through every practice, meet, and road trip. They only have a couple months of school left and they will be moving on and away. Missions, college, or jobs. Let's hope they don't forget that chlorine runs through their veins.
