How Do You Pick?

Our mailbox has never been as full as it is right now. Everyday there are new packets, letters, and even a few stickers all showcasing what their school has to offer a graduating student. Far and wide across the nation it's crazy to see all of Ryder's options.

These are the ones his hasn't thrown away.

Some are even sending a little swag.

Or offering visits.

It's crazy to think he could be moving across the country or stay in state. The pressure is real and we are really trying not to add more pressure to make a quick decision. 

Just ask Ryder I already ask too many questions for his liking. Stay tuned for updates as they come in.

Ending January With A Bang!!

It's the last weekend of January and it is full of activities. Dave & Ryder are off to Austin, Texas checking out the area for school, real estate, and maybe relaxing. I'm helping out at the UtahTech swim meet with NAU.

Sunday Food Prep

Welcome to Sunday evening in my kitchen and food prep for the upcoming week.  The 90 Day Challenge has started again on the 15th. This time it is going to be a little harder by eating more fruits & vegetables. My strategy is going to be making bags of vegetables plus some fruit to snack on through out the day.

This is going to work to make it a habit. The challenge is to make new habits and learn additional ones as well.

We are ready for the new week to begin.

 

Missing Wallet

Ryder discovered that he was missing his wallet. He couldn't remember where he last had it or even when. This has become a chronic problem for him with his wallet, phone, and the list goes on. His first thought was that I had moved it or Dave had hid it from him. Neither were true of course. 

The panic has now set in. Time to cancel his debit cards. Trying to slow him down a little by checking out any transactions before jumping into that final no going back step. He was determined to be in charge and ordered a new card. 

The next day after saying a few of my prayers I decided to start searching again. A little slower this time.

SURPRISE!!

The lost wallet appears!

Dave & Ryder daily.

Prayers were answered and this little wallet

which caused a whole lot of chaos. Ryder has ordered a bigger one that will stay in his pocket a whole lot better. However the downside for quick action means his money is locked down until his new card arrives

sometime in the next week.

We even had a talk about the power of prayer. I am not sure he was convinced. Maybe if I keep pointing out these small mircles he will notice them on his own.
