What's Up

Thanksgiving break was full of craziness.

WHAT?

Teenagers cleaning their room only

once every three months.

Washing machine will get a good work out.

Piper watching TV.

Not sure what movie we were watching.

Dogs barking and playing.

We missed Grandma for Thanksgiving.

This picture shows that it was a good idea to stay put.

Must have been a rough night.

I found Reganne's shoes this morning.

She must have kicked them off while looking for a snack.

It fits!!

Thanks Mom you got me the perfect size.

I burst out laughing!!

We had argued as to what size he should wear. 26 or 24.

I bought one of each. Gave him the 24 to try one. It was exactly what he needed.

We also kept the 26 since I'm betting he will grow a little more before long course season.

November was a good month with a whole lot of activities. It's time to get ready for Christmas. Let's get all the decoration in place to enjoy the whole season.

Happy Thanksgiving

Planning Thanksgiving this year was all over the place. It is the year of other plans. Trying to plan different diets, and picky eaters. How to accomplish a Happy Thanksgiving Meal is a mystery to me. How about going out? What about leftovers? Let's try Chuck A Rama and brave the crowds.

Everyone was full and sleepy after about 45 minutes. Good idea? Easiest clean up every. The only thing missing was the visiting with family and friends. Constant grazing on the leftovers all day and all night. The final question would we do this again? A firm maybe.

Jubilee of Trees

Revisiting and old tradition this year. The Foundation has undergone so many change before, during, and after COVID it has been hard to attend. This year they bribed employees with free ticket to attend. We invited everyone to attend in hopes of rekindle the tradition. It turned out to be Ryder, Dave, and myself heading to the Dixie Center.

We had a great time looking at each tree, wreaths, sweets, and a whole shop with many handmade gifts. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon before Thanksgiving event. Let's get the holidays rolling.

2023 UT HAST Fall Back Splash

Time once again to head to American Fork for the swim meet hosted by HAST.  The club swimmers are split up between high school meets across the state and this one.  Our numbers are fewer but team spirit is just as big. It's time to swim, work hard, and of course have fun.

Raining + wiper blades that fell apart = Walmart stop for new blades in Payson.

We had a great trip spending time at the pool, helping Grandma, and saying to goodbye to Brinton as he leaves to serve his mission in Oregon. 

I am always amazed that we can go to American Fork and not see anyone that I know. Maybe someday I will.

Just Another Week

I'm beginning to realize that our life is just plain crazy most of the time. This week has been no different it's full of adventures.

He claimed he had a good time. However, the all day thing is not his thing.

Once made everyone disappeared.

So much for everyone's favorite treat this week.

Look really close

Dexter go a haircut and he was a little cold.

Crazy Piper got one as well.

Everyone survived the week except for Dexter. It has really cooled down he sat shivering. We dug out his coat and a few blankets to keep him warm. No more haircuts until spring.

Birthday Trip

Ryder planned a trip to Las Vegas to attend Mecham Auto. Ryder had it all planned and was ready for execution. The added bonus was missing school for the day. They were headed out bright and early.

WOW!!

There a whole lot of cars.

They made it home in one piece and without a new car. Their excitement was so thick you could cut it with a knife. As they started to come back to earth plans maybe spinning through their heads of possibly working on a car together to sell next year. Hang on and see how this adventure plays out.

Hello November

No free time yet since Ryder got his license. This week has been busy as ever with work, swim, shopping and of course housework. 

Greg Fernley Swim Meet

I volunteered to be on deck as a USA Official.

If the meet is a duel meet the kids can use their times for both.

Ryder isn't swimming high school this year. He thought this was weird.

Late birthday present.

Ryder finally has his passport to the world.

He is ready to start traveling and collecting stamps.
