One Busy Boy!

Ryder never sits still. He is either moving full steam ahead or fast asleep. There has been very little time for sleep with all his projects spinning around in his head. I was lucky enough to capture a couple of those projects in pictures.

Time for his motorcycle license
Waiting patiently for his turn.

2 others waiting for test as well.
He passed!!
No doubt in my mind. However, he was surprised the other passed as well.
Maybe that's why there have been so many accidents this year with motorcycles.

Old man picture courtesy of Reganne
Surviving sisters has been a
challenge for him most days.
Don't worry he gives as much as they give.

Breakfast @ 6:00 am
It's Saturday but also ACT Test.
He read that a good breakfast will improve his score.
I went back to bed.

There will be more pictures to come this month with his birthday, short course swim season, online school, regular school, and work. I need to catch my breath and hopefully slow him down a little. I'm open to any ideas on how to accomplish that.

Road Trip Saturday

Let's go to Panguitch to the car show!! Dave, Ryder, and I headed out for a Saturday morning road trip.

Love the Hot Wheels sticker

The car isn't so bad either.

Comparing notes

Still in deep conversation
comparing each car.

Not as many cars as past years. It was fun to see families with multiple generations walking thru the cars. Passing on the love for old cars, old stories, and new stories being shared. Time for a leisurely ride home. Nope!! not with Dave driving.

Goodbye Summer?!?

It's the end of August. The heat is still on with not a hint of fall in the air. Let's end the month with a yummy treat.

Cookie Skillet
Enough for 2 or 3?

Just 2!!
It was yummy.
You can tell by Ryder's face he was in heaven.

Saying goodbye to August and hello September!!

Rylee & Ruston Update

They are busy with their new house along with 2 dogs. It's a girls getaway to Las Vegas.

Way too many phones
and not enough faces.

Picture #1

Picture #2
The sphere all lite up.

Rylee has the whole group
sitting at attention to get the treats.
When did Ranger get to big?

Who needs help?

Moving a large couch downstairs.

Too big to fit through the door.
Trying to break it down.

They made it
Now the puppies have someplace to relax
that is all theirs.

It's fun to watch them and their adventures.

What A Week

Another crazy, fun filled week full of mini adventures. The pictures speak for themselves.

Great picture of
Miss Indy and Ranger
They look so innocent. Not sure how the photographer captured this.
Neither one sits still for very long.

What is the temp?
Outside is 75 degrees in August.

Whoa!!
Ranger has a big snout.
He is greeting everyone and saying good morning.

Late nigh visit.
Ryder officially has a date for the homecoming dance.
Plus a new Beta Fish.

Hurricane's Farmers Market
Visiting the BON Garden's Stand.

Ava & Dave
Reganne & Destiny were having a movie marathon.
Ava was able to hang out with us. The movies are way to scary for her.

Oops!!
No toys at our house.
Nothing beats the measuring cups, lids, and spoons.
Every toddlers dream.

Cuddle time!
She came over to me while folding clothes asked to be picked up.
I found Elmo on Roku she snuggled down.
Almost asleep when mom decided it was time to go home.

Toys!!
Dave found these cute toys for Ava's next visit.
Not sure who had more fun together Dave or Ava.
Dave is prepared for her next visit.

See you next week in pictures.

Mission Farewells

We headed to Saratoga Springs for Jaxen, Joshua, and Gracie to speak in sacrament meeting. Jaxen will be heading to the Philippines, Joshua heading to Brazil, and Gracie to BYU. Hopefully, Ryan & Emily are able to enjoy a little more quiet time. All three gave amazing talks. It's time to eat and enjoy the beautiful day.

Love this park!!
This view is amazing. A perfect day for
lunch at the park.

Visiting with family & friends
The food was great as well.

I finally remember to take a few pictures.
This is what is left of the party.

Ryan, Joshua, Emily, and Jaxen

Surprise
Rob Norr & Randy Biggs
It was great to see Rob & Casey show up at the church.
It was even better that we all got to visit.

Not sure where the last 18 years have gone. Watching all the kids grow up and starting to spread their wings. Where will they all be in the next 3, 5, 10 years? I'm excited to have a front row seat.

Time For Shopping

When you pass a Harley Store there is always time.

Dave & Ryder
They are totally zoned into the everything Harley Davidson.

Ryder's mind is blown
by the price tag.

What is that?
The rain moved in really fast.
Thank goodness we made it inside first.

The rain came in the door.
before long multiple puddles turned into streams of water.
A couple salesman came and looked at the water.
Only to turn around and walk off.
30 minutes later the cashiers came over with towels
and began cleaning up the mess.
It amazed me that nobody moved very fast to clean up a hazard.

No rain now
This beautiful back yard was the setting of
the a wedding of Grandma's neighbor.

One favorite place to eat dinner.
Love their loaded baked potato with shredded pork.

Who is this alien?
Ryder bought all this gear on sale.
He loved how much money he saved.

What an exhausting day but fun day. 3 generations hanging out together and even having a little fun. That is what I call a success.

Weekend Trip

We are off again!! We are headed north for Jaxen & Josh MacPherson's mission farewells on Sunday. Until then we will pack as much into the 2 days as we can.

St George Regional Airport
We haven't flown standby for a few years.
Not too bad. We made it right on.

Visiting the aquarium
I received 4 tickets as a prize from the
90 Day Challenge.

25 Years Old
I remember our first visit to an old
dusty converted store.

What are you looking at?
My favorite exhibit... the penguins.
A perfect time to sit back and watch people & penguins.

Ryder & large shark jaw

I need this sign

Watching from another angle
They are speedy swimmers.

Inside the glass tunnel

Fascinating and up close and personal

Relaxing & watching

We found the shark tank

Pretzel
Dave & Ryder found us and brought this
amazing pretzel for us to try.
Delicious!!!

New outside area
Not sure if it's finished or not.
It's going to rain soon.

Selfie Time
Ryder claimed to have the longest arm.
Somehow he is the only one fully in the picture.

It's been so long since we had visited that it was definitely a must see. Grandma JeanAnn has a wedding later so we were headed back to Springville.
