Fall Season Game 8: Pink & Purple Pirates

Finale game of the season dawned cold and windy. So cold that the girls all dressed in layers. They were ready to play and eagerly took the field. The Purple Pirates only had three players show up so Pink Pirates gave one player to them and played four on four.

Let's play

Score a goal!

That wasn't supposed to happen.

My tooth is wiggly!!

Season ending cheer!!! Let's go get warm.

The girls signing the coaches gift. The pen froze up before they could finish.

Reganne scored her first goal of the season, but she quickly reported that it was for the other team so it didn't count. We told her a goal was a goal and it was great.

It was a great season we will see everyone in the spring.

Fall Soccer Game 7: Light vs Dark Pink

Saturday arrived with sugar flowing through their veins. We played the light pink team and girls from our ward. They were evenly matched until the sugar rush ran out.

Kick that ball

Where did it go?

Who is going to kick?

It was a great game full of energy.

Too bad that scoring goals was not in the cards this week, but defense was perfect. Keep up the good work.

Halloween Week: Halloween Night

The night started early with kids arriving around 6:30 because it was a school night. Reganne refused to start since it wasn't dark. She didnt' want to trick or treat in the morning. We finally convinced her that it was evening and it was ok to start. Rylee thought she was old enough to go by herself, that was quickly kaboshed and she went with us.

What a scary group.

Our Haunted House plus spooky occupants.

The first house or maybe second house. Ryder was all for it now and quickly ran from house to house they were giving him candy just for being cute. After a couple of blocks of collecting treats. Ryder told me his feet were screaming. I asked him what are they screaming? They are done Mom. I have enough candy let's go home. Still about a block away I could convince him to hit the last few houses. He was done.

Who is this scary old man??? Would you take a treat from him?

The night ended with chili dogs, candy, bath, and finally bed. We survived another Halloween Week and thank goodness we have 51 weeks until the next one arrives.

Halloween Week: School Parade

It was finally Monday and Halloween had arrived with the annual Halloween Parade at school. The girls eagerly prepared their costumes for the event. The morning was cool but not cool enough to stop the parade.

Rylee or Cleo
Dacode or Mario

Reganne or Shewolf+teeth

After two laps they were ready to go inside and party. Rylee's class was greeted by a Vegetable Skeleton. The room mom told them they need to have a nutrious snack to counter all the treats the rest of the day.

Only a few more hours to go before trick or treating.

Halloween Week: One More Activity

We weren't finished yet there was one more stop to make at Robert's Craft for more treats and crafts.

Making Halloween Puzzels

"I'm a Mean Old Witch with a hat. I ride on my broom with cat. My chin is pointy and my shoes is too. So you had better watch out or I might scare you." This song fits this witch at Roberts. I am not sure she could have been nice if she tried. She scolded the kids when they had questions. She snapped at the other workers. Hopefully, she felt better the next day.

Check out this display

We want a cupcake from the cake walk. However, our numbers were never called.

Halloween Week: Washington Rec Spooky Carnival

Saturday Night the celebrating continued with the Spooky Carnival at the Washington Rec Center. Last year the lines were so long that we knew we had to be early. However, when you go to the wrong door you to can be first in line. Well after deciding this didn't look right we ventured to the back door and were about the 30th persons in line. The doors opened and the fun began.

What monkey would be complete without his banana.

Fortune Telling Witch and Reganne. Ryder refused to go inside for his balloon.

Blow up slides & bounce houses

Try the witch's brew? Not likely it was foaming and bubbling in the cup.

Halloween Week: Trick or Treating at SkyWest

This year SkyWest decided that all Halloween activities would be on Friday. This worked for me and spread out the craziness into a couple more days. The kids were excited to go with Mom to work and get treats. The popular comment was Mom not this way we already have been there. Cubbies all look alike.

The Loot!!!

They really cleaned up with bags to heavy to carry.
