Halloween Week: School Parade

It was finally Monday and Halloween had arrived with the annual Halloween Parade at school. The girls eagerly prepared their costumes for the event. The morning was cool but not cool enough to stop the parade.

Rylee or Cleo
Dacode or Mario

Reganne or Shewolf+teeth

After two laps they were ready to go inside and party. Rylee's class was greeted by a Vegetable Skeleton. The room mom told them they need to have a nutrious snack to counter all the treats the rest of the day.

Only a few more hours to go before trick or treating.

Halloween Week: One More Activity

We weren't finished yet there was one more stop to make at Robert's Craft for more treats and crafts.

Making Halloween Puzzels

"I'm a Mean Old Witch with a hat. I ride on my broom with cat. My chin is pointy and my shoes is too. So you had better watch out or I might scare you." This song fits this witch at Roberts. I am not sure she could have been nice if she tried. She scolded the kids when they had questions. She snapped at the other workers. Hopefully, she felt better the next day.

Check out this display

We want a cupcake from the cake walk. However, our numbers were never called.

Halloween Week: Trick or Treating at SkyWest

This year SkyWest decided that all Halloween activities would be on Friday. This worked for me and spread out the craziness into a couple more days. The kids were excited to go with Mom to work and get treats. The popular comment was Mom not this way we already have been there. Cubbies all look alike.

Halloween Week: Trick or Treating

Finally !!! time for trick or treating. The kids were all ready to go. That was until Dad brought home his latest addition to the decorations. A Haunted House Blowup along with it's own music. The kids then weren't sure if they should stay or go. Maybe a quick trip around the neighborhood and then back to scare their friends.

Our Haunted House...Come in if you dare !!!

What's this? Who is missing their head? and it talks as well.

Who is this old man in our haunted house? Wait a minute it's Dad!!!

Halloween Craft Corner
What do to with all those crafts??? I put them on display for 2 days only and a picture to remember for always.

It was a fun week full of activities. However, I am ready for it to be over. The only thing that scares me more is it's time to get ready for Christmas or at least that's what the stores want you to believe. I think we will focus more on a Quiet Thanksgiving first.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!!!!

The kids had so much fun and didn't want to leave. I found out later that they had 3,000 attend and had only anticipated 1,500. Advertising Hint #1 anything listed as FREE will bring the masses.

It was off to dinner at Red Robin and bed time for our party animals.
