Let's Go To The Lake

The summer is winding down for us with school just around the corner.  Could we fit one more activity in??  the answer is YES!!!!!

Saturday morning bright and early we were headed out to play.  Rylee couldn't go she had a last minute babysitting job.  So off we went to Sand Hollow.

Dave's new water toy.
Would they love it?

It's HUGE

I think they love it.

Confirmed
Jumping in

Again......
BURRRRRR it was still to cold for me to get in.
I would rather drive.

Solo Trip

This Waters loves the water.

We hope to get out a couple more times before winter arrives.  One thing is for sure water play makes everyone hungry for lunch.

New Treat

Reganne begged all year to try the ice cream shop on Main Street.  Today was the day...

YUMMY

Ryder dove in head first.

Ice cream for lunch only at Disneyland.  This is one treat that lived up to all they hype.  It will be a must stop on our next trip.

Look Who We Found....

MICKEY MOUSE

THE MAD HATTER
Who???

The major surprise for me was how hard it is to actually see the characters.  Most of the time we ran into them and had to quickly snap a picture.  I decided see Mickey this time was a must and the wait was only 40 minutes.

Picture tip:  You can either see characters or ride rides you can't do both in one day so pick and choose.

Different Diggs

We had tried to get reservations at the Wyndmark Resort but had to wait list instead.  What a surprise in early July a room came through.  We were all excited to try something new.

Reganne loved all the tv's and remotes for everyone.

Awesome swimming pool, hot tub, and kiddie pool

Making time to swim no major feat.

Private spot to watch the fireworks.

It was a perfect place for our last trip.  Now if only we could get rid of the salesmen trying to sell you more time.

Last & Firsts

This Disney trip was going to be out last for a couple of years.  Could we find anything new to do???

Riding the Mark Twain Boat.

Playing games on the Pier.

Sister's stick together riding a new ride.
Splash Mountain

Hang on Reganne!!!

Thumbs up from everyone.
We all came out alive and a little wet.

Guess who on the Matterhorn???
Dad, Mom, Rylee, and Ryder
Ride secret...Go to the front of the line and ask for the single rider line.  We each rode numerous times during the wait time posted.

Let's do it again!!!!
Amazing that after 7 trips this year we could still find new things to do and I am sure we still missed a few.

Goofy Faces

We have our very own Goofy in our family.  After downloading all our pictures it was hard to find one that Ryder wasn't pulling some type of face.  The only trick I have now is take 3 pictures each time and I get at least one that everyone looks normal.

Got to love them!!!!

Keeping Cool @ Disneyland

When we were planning out last trip to Disneyland watching the weather and no rain in the forecast.  However, we forgot one small detail HUMIDITY.  Our trip became one of trying to keep cool.

That impish look.
Who is she going to spray?  Dad, of course.
Spray Fan + Cooling Hat = Smiles
Cool Rag + Spray Fan = Fun Times
or new fashion for a pirate.
Pony tails, cooling rag, and lot's of water.
Rylee looked at me and stated Mom, you are sweating like a pig!!!  The honesty of a kid.  I was sweating and after checking the weather on my phone it showed 53% humidity and it was only 10:00 am.

The Blue Angels

Came to town once again.  It was a hard choice to make Disneyland or Blue Angels.  However, what made it easier we would be sitting on the tarmac on a hot July summer day with temperatures reaching at least 110 if not hotter.  Disney hear we come.

We woke up to the roar of engines on Sunday morning.  What a sound!!!!!  Let's wait until the afternoon show and watch it from the backyard.

If you look close at the black specks those are the planes.

It was a good show for free and at home.  Maybe next year they will come earlier in summer when it is not so hot.  This was a great way to wind up our vacation week.
