Bubbles, Bubbles, and More Bubbles

So much for getting my house clean and running errands.  BubbleFest Saturday was here.  Everyone was dressed in swimsuits and Mom held the towels, shoes, and projects.  We were off to have a good time.

Tinkerbell showed up to party.

But it did and it was time to go home.  Everyone had a blast and were squeaky clean.  Even my stinky sandals got a good cleaning.  The verdict is still out on whether they smell better or not.

Time to rest up before our next adventure to Disneyland.

Karate Games

Silver Medalist

Rylee was worn out from a long day of swimming and playing at summer camp.  When I reminded her that it was time for karate.  She drug her feet but I reminder her it was testing night and she had agreed to help grade the other students.  Of she went.

An hour & half later she made it home with a big smile on her face and a silver medal around her neck.  It was Summer Karate Games and she decided to participate in the sparring event.  She went into the gold medal round against a green belt student who happens to be the mom of another student.  Her reach was longer and was about a foot taller but Rylee gave as good as she got.  She got the silver medal.

We are so proud of her trying her hardest and being successful.  Now I wish she would listen and practice more.

WOW!!!!

My van is finally in the garage after 6 months of parking outside.  The new garage is finished but the move in has been slow going and with Dave hurt it has been even slower.  Ryder informed me that we could fit 3 cars in here.  Imagine that after 8 almost 9 years we can fit 3 cars in our garage.

It is my lucky day, week, and year.  But watch out for my backing up my skills are still really rusty.  Wait a minute they were never very good in the first place.  Plenty of time to learn and improve.

W&W Camp Out

Time to go camping!!! Everyone was so excited to get out of the heat and up to much cooler temperatures.  Let's play and have fun.

After setting up camp it was time to play.
The weather was much cooler due to earlier rain.  Everyone soon had their jackets on. The ranger gave the ok for a fire. Dave & Blake gave it the good old fashioned try, but little success due to the moisture in the air. 

After a yummy breakfast it was time to go for a hike.

After a trip to InstaCare he came back with 7 stitches and a sprained wrist he was good to play games with Ryder

Let's learn about lightening.
Dave took all the kids and they came back with  a lot of facts about lightening.

It was the best weekend get away we have had in awhile.  The best part is the kids learned something new about lightening and with monsoon season here they get to share each night as we watch the lightening storms.

A late night call on Tuesday asking Dave if he had a car available to drive the Washington County Royalty in the parade the next morning.  The Nova was in the shop so that left the Hummer which currently has no AC.  Off to the car wash to get it sparkling clean and ready to roll.  

8:00 comes really early and the kids were excited to ride in another parade.

The girls thought they were really cool and of course Ryder thought they were pretty.
However, he refused to talk to them.

The parade was rolling along and they announce the Royalty and that Dave was representing the Triple Deuce.  Oops they forgot to tell the parade organizers that they couldn't make it.  Dave wanted to crawl underneath the seat but he had to drive instead.

Family Night......ColorFest

Everyone was tired from our Idaho Trip but there was still more fun to come on Monday night. COLORFEST!!!!!  come dressed in white and leave in full color.  

They are still all clean with the Minion & Lalaloopsy.

Everyone had a great time and the paint only lasted until they hit the shower.  However, the shirts still hold some of the color and patterns.  It was a great family activity.

SURPRISE!!!!!!

Dave blew the surprise late Friday night while the kids were getting ready for bed at the hotel.  The screaming and shouting could be heard down the halls and I am betting in the parking lot.  We were going to Lagoon in the morning.  As we pulled into the parking lot Ryder proclaimed that he wanted to ride the old roller coaster and every ride he could.   

Dang!! Ryder was too short to ride.

Time for one last ride for the girls.  Dave rode in the back with Rylee so Reganne had to ride by herself.
She wanted to bad to ride either in the front or back but needed someone else to ride with her.  So one more ride with Mom and we rode in the front.

It was time to head home after a fun holiday weekend.  Oops we let Ryder drink 2 cups of Dr Pepper at dinner.  So no sleep for him or peace for us on the way home.
