Ryder was ready to have his wisdom teeth removed after me dragging my feet on setting up the appointment. He wasn't prepared for how fast they could get him in. So here we are 2 weeks later full of nervous energy and not sure about the whole IV. Bright and early on a Thursday morning and home by 7:30.
He could climb in the Hummer.
We are headed home for him to sleep it off.
He survived the IV.
He was shocked to see that it actually happened.
He rolled over
and was out like a light.
I was off to get prescriptions and check in at work.
My phone dings!!
Hi Mom!!
We did get meds and a little food in him.
A whole lot more sleep.
Day 2
Not so angry looking and a little swelling.
But a whole lot of Hangry!!
Drive thru at Popeye's
Yes the man on the scooter was waiting as well.
After 10 minutes of no movement.
Backed out and headed home.
Potatoes & Gravy
Luckily I remembered that I had a package of instant potatoes.
Homemade country gravy.
These are the BEST!!
Not sure he is all with it if these are the best.
Day 2
A little more swelling
But still very Hangry.
Cream of Chicken Soup
and some KFC potatoes and gravy.
Not as good as your's.
Day 3
Chipmunk cheeks
The hangry is slowly going away.
Day 4
Looks really good with
very little pain.
He survived and so did everyone else. This is one adventure towards adulthood that I am glad is behind us. Teething, walking, potty training, kindergarten, and wisdom teeth removal all milestones towards adulthood.
