Trying New Things

Missed a picture of the best new food we tried was the Birria Tacos at Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill located at California Adventure. It was way too dark to get any pictures. This is a must try when visiting.

 

Freshman Orientation

New adventures starting soon for Ryder. The required first step is Freshman Orientation with parents going one way and students going another. Am I really ready for this?

It's official!!

I have the name badge to prove it.

After an hour of listening to where places are located in town. To how to download the various aps to help homesick kids. I ducked out to check in with work with the promise I would be back before lunch.

I made it back in time to enjoy one of my favorite lunches.

Then we were off for 3 more classes of things available on campus.

It ended with a quick intro from the dean of the college of business.

Well, the countdown to August has now officially started. Hopefully, he will be ready.

Ate The Whole Bowl

Feeding the dogs is a new adventure every time. Piper glups her food down in a few minutes. While Dexter slower and is always alert for better option. If he waits too long Piper will clean up both bowls.

An added bonus in working for Balance of Nature is getting to try new products. Dr. Phytos Dog Food Topper is something I have been really curious about trying it. To make a long story really really short. I asked a question on a podcast about how the age gap between dogs should be treated. We talked about their health, eating habits, and general questions. I am giving it a try and giving updates on how they are doing.

Piper as usual gulps down her food.

Then I hear strange noises

of her bowl sliding on the floor.

She was licking her bowl so hard to get every last drop.

The bowl was sliding into the laundry room and back.

Dexter got busy with his food.

He didn't stop eating until every last drop was gone.

That is one clean bowl.

Ranger on the other hand

no Dr. Phytos.

He made a big mess and refused to eat.

He is either not hungry or he wanted the same stuff Dexter & Piper were eating.

This boy doesn't miss out on food.

Unless you are throwing it for him to catch.

This pony could be Ranger's cousin

with his long snout.

Funny ending to this story. Ranger cleaned everyone's bowls and refused to eat the regular dog food. Interesting observation and one the topper must be good. Watch for addition updates.

Apartment Hunting

It's time for another road trip to Logan. The goal for this trip is finding Reganne someplace to stay for her next adventure. But first we need food.

It's official!!

Reganne will start school in August.

The trip was successful!! She found a place a little farther from campus without the train right outside her windows. Before you know it we will be moving her across the state. She has big adventures ahead of her.

 

The Rollercoaster

Mom, let's ride the Go Go Coaster? This is one ride I have never wanted to ride. Not only does it go upside down and sideways but really, really fast. Dave declined to go with him. I took walk over to the exit and noticed people of a certain age getting off. They didn't look too bad and nobody was carted off on a stretcher. I need to be more adventurous so here goes.

However, I won't be doing it again anytime soon.

Fun memory and one not soon forgotten. Lesson learned that you are never to old to try something new. Sometimes you have to get out of your way and enjoy. The best part is that I surprised everyone else.
