Long Course Kick Off Meet

I am back at the pool for the start of the long course season. Eveything looks the same but there is one big difference. I am here by myself.

It was a fun meet with all the craziness of a large pool setup. My allergies are flairing up after only a couple of hours poolside. Who knows what my future holds officiating. I have commited to one more meet on Memorial Day weekend. I will help out but it no longer is my priority.

Rylee & Ruston Adventures - Iceland

The travel bug has taken a bite out of us. Here are pictures from Rylee & Ruston's trip to Iceland.

These two are headed home!!

The pictures are amazing. I had no idea it was so beautiful. I do believe they had a great time. We are ready to have the 2 bed hogs out of our bed. Maybe better sleep will be our reward.

Who knows where their next adventure will take them.

 

Fun With A Typo

One last dance of the school year. Everyone is planning who they will ask, where they will go, and most important what they will do all day. First task is putting together a fun way to ask your potential date. This will often will be a group effort.

Good idea!

However, one small typo that can change the whole idea.

to tease each other.

Now that the asking is over it's time to plan. The boys are having a great time working together. They also want to make it a great time for the whole group. I am excitaed for the whole group.

 

Easter Car Show

We headed off to Hurricane for the Easter Car Show. It is a little chilly sweatshirts make it comfortable. There are a whole lot of cars packed into the the park.

However, We aren't going back anytime soon. These will

Even though all the kids are older silly stuff

still comes out of their mouths.

As thing kids keep getting older traditions have changes or lost forever. This is still one we do each year. It's fun to get outside and enjoy the sun after a cooler winter.

Golden Goggles 2025

It's hard to believe that anothr swim year is ending. For us it is the ending of Ryder's swim career. It's a fun night to celebrate all the hard work and dedication of all our amazing swimmers and coaches.

They have been fed.

Noelle & Ryder were the only seniors that completed the whole year.

Achievement Award

He won this year for never giving up despite breaking his wrist.

He only missed to practices.

His hard work and determination he was a good example to his teammates.

He once again earned the IMX Award for completing all required events during the short course season. Scholarship Pin for having a 4.0 this school season. 

We are so proud of him for all his hard work and doing his best no matter the circumstances. He has also been a good example and friend to everyone on the team.

A Couple Final Stops

After our train ride back to London there was still time to revisit Borough Market for a late lunch. We also couldn't leave the country without having more strawberries.

We had to walk off all that food.

We discovered that Buckingham Palace wasn't too far from our hotel.

What an amazing trip.

We made it home

I believe he slept for 12 hours straight.

We had a great time! I will cross this off my bucket list but there is still so much that we didn't get to see. We just might have to go again. Sad note Ryder did not get a stamp in his passport. London Heathrow Airport is all electronic. He is already looking for another adventure.

Good morning!! We are headed out for another adventure today. It all starts with a ride on the train.
